LCL shares a container with other shippers and is charged by volume — right for smaller consignments. FCL gives you the whole container at a flat rate, which becomes cheaper once you are filling most of it.
Per cubic metre or per revenue tonne, whichever is greater. We will tell you which basis applies once we have dimensions and weight.
